Ecochem KCB is a high-performance fluorescent whitening agent with a strong whitening effect and a bright blue hue. It offers excellent heat resistance, weather resistance, and chemical stability, making it one of the most effective optical brighteners available.

Applications:

  • Ideal for whitening plastic and synthetic fiber products
  • Enhances brightness in non-ferrous plastics
  • Widely used in EVA copolymers, making it a preferred choice for sports shoes
  • Suitable for PE, PP, PVC, PS, ABS, PMMA, and other plastic films, molding materials, and injection-molded products
  • Effective for polyester fibers, paints, and natural coatings

Recommended Dosage:

For plastics and resins, the typical dosage ranges from 0.01% to 0.03% (10-30g per 100kg of plastic raw material). The exact amount should be adjusted based on the desired whiteness level. If UV absorbers (e.g., titanium dioxide) are used, the whitening agent dosage may need to be modified accordingly.

Material Recommended Dosage (g/100kg raw material)
PE (Polyethylene) 10-25g
PP (Polypropylene) 10-25g
PS (Polystyrene) 10-20g
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) 10-30g
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) 10-30g
EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) 10-30g
Transparent plastic films 1-10g
