Bis(tert-butylperoxyisopropyl)benzene (BIPB)

BIPB Crosslinking Agent

Bis(tert-butylperoxyisopropyl)benzene

Bis(tert-butylperoxyisopropyl)benzene (BIPB) is a high-efficiency organic peroxide crosslinking agent widely used in rubber and plastic processing industries.

BIPB is structurally similar to Dicumyl Peroxide (DCP) but offers significant advantages such as lower odor and better compression resistance at high temperature.

Under the same crosslinking effect, the required dosage of BIPB is approximately two-thirds of DCP, making it an ideal odorless alternative to DCP

Bis(tert-butylperoxyisopropyl)benzene (BIPB)

BIPB | Odorless DCP | Crosslinking Agent for PE / EVA / Rubber

Product Description

Bis(tert-butylperoxyisopropyl)benzene (BIPB) is a highly efficient organic peroxide crosslinking agent widely used in rubber and plastic processing.

Compared with traditional DCP (Dicumyl Peroxide), BIPB offers lower odor, higher crosslinking efficiency, and improved processing performance.

Under the same crosslinking effect, the required dosage of BIPB is approximately 2/3 of DCP, which can effectively reduce formulation cost and improve the odor of final products.

BIPB is especially suitable for indoor wire insulation materials and EVA foaming products.
